Achievements
In addition to teaching the faculty members of the Department have to their credit the following Achievements
- Ph.D Degree / M.Phil Degree / PG DIPLOMA in various fields.
- Presented / published papers in International / National Journals as well as International / National Conferences
- In May 2011, department was recognized as research centre by VTU for carrying out research work.
- In May 2013, department inaugurated Ramanujan’s Club. Dr. K.S. Chandrashekhar(Prof. and HoD, Dept. of Mathematics, NIE, Mysore) who was the chief guest of the eventannounced an Endowment Cash Prize award for the student who scores highest marks in Mathematics.
- On 12th sept 2014 department recognized the students who have scored highest marks in mathematics from each branch and felicitated them.
